Materials

We create premium eco-friendly clothes hangers using a variety of sustainable materials, including sturdy cardboard made from recycled paper fibres, pressure-formed wood fibreboard, and bioplastic. Our hangers are designed to be both strong and durable, and are made using only organic, biodegradable, and renewable fibres that are traceable and sustainably sourced. By using these materials, we are able to provide hangers that offer both a luxurious look and feel, while also being environmentally responsible.

Technique

Our developed technique makes it possible to create very durable cardboard, wood, and bioplastic hangers. We use 4 mm cardboard to create sturdy hangers that can hold up to 10 kg, while our pressure-formed wood fibreboard hangers use 3–4 mm thick wood fibreboard that can hold up to 20 kg.

Our bioplastic hangers come in 10 mm thicknesses, incredibly strong and durable. By using these materials and our advanced production methods, we are able to provide hangers that are both eco-friendly and capable of supporting heavy garments.

Functionality

Trempel hangers are not only eco-friendly and stylish, but also functionally designed. Thanks to their slim profile and lightweight construction, they are ideal for solving space, logistic, and visual problems in stores, warehouses, and during transportation.

Additionally, our hangers are specially cut at an angle that creates a gentle non-slip surface, ensuring that garments stay securely in place. These features make our hangers not only an environmentally responsible choice, but also a practical and efficient one for businesses of all types.

Sustainability

History

There is a legend about a German named Trempel, the manufacturer of the finished dresses in Kharkov in 19th century. Each of his products was hung on hangers, which were labelled with his company name - “Trempel”. As a result, throughout the southern part of the Russian Empire, costume hangers were called “Trempel”.

Founded in 2017 by Environmental, Industrial and Product Designer Aleksandrs Bobrovs. He graduated from the Academy of Arts of Latvia and has more than 15 years of experience in design. Many years of experience allowed him to create a perfect Trempel’ design and quality.
